This website belongs to The Daymaker Salon, 991 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025. By using it you accept what is set out below. It is short, because the site does very little: it tells you what we do, what it costs and how to reach us.

Prices

Every price on this site is a starting price. It is what that service costs at its most straightforward, and it is honest, but it is a starting point rather than a quote.

What you actually pay depends on your hair: how long it is, how thick it is, and what condition it is in. Lightening dark hair, working through a lot of hair, or repairing hair that needs it all take more time and more product than the starting price covers.

Your stylist will tell you the price before any work begins. If it is more than the number on this site, you will hear it while you are still in the chair with your coat on, not at the desk afterwards. Consultations are free and you are never committed by having had one.

We keep these pages current, but a price here can fall out of date. The price your stylist confirms with you in the salon is the one that counts.

Appointments are made by phone

You cannot book on this website. There is no booking system here, nothing on this site reserves a slot, and no time is held for you by anything you do here.

Appointments are arranged by calling the salon on (847) 486-9990. An appointment exists once we have agreed it with you on the phone.

A message is not a booking

The form on our Contact page sends us a message. It does not book anything and it does not hold a time.

We answer messages when the salon is open. We are closed Sunday and Monday, so a message left on those days is answered on Tuesday. If you need a particular day or time, call: it is faster and it is the only way to be certain.

What is on these pages

The words, the photographs and the design of this site belong to The Daymaker Salon and the people who made it for us. Please do not copy them for use elsewhere without asking first. Ask and we will usually say yes.

Photographs of hair are of work done in this salon. Hair is individual: the same service on different hair gives a different result, so a photograph shows what we did for that person rather than a promise of what will happen to you. Your stylist will tell you what is realistic for your hair.

Links to other sites

Some pages link elsewhere, for instance to our Google profile or our Instagram. Those sites are not ours and we are not responsible for what is on them.

Liability

We keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it is free of errors or never offline. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using this website or from relying on information on it. This does not limit our responsibility for the services we provide to you in the salon, and it does not affect your rights under Illinois or federal law.

What the site collects and what it loads is set out in the privacy policy.
